When I traveled outside of the United States, I kept a detailed set of notes, photos and sketches of the possible residential and commercial living and working ideas that I envisioned. I eventually spoke to architects and builders to work together to realize the vision — with myself as the Project Lead.

A person lacking all of these professional skills — in depth — typically does not lead the project! If you can add value to the Team every step of the way and learn fast — it can work. Someone has to handle the tremendous details of sourcing – negotiating – scheduling – coordinating …; to execute the project to meet building codes and design objectives. If you are executing bold and unique lifestyle / construction design statements that other’s want to associate their brand with – they might go with the idea; especially if it advances their agenda as well.
